Role: Pharmacy Business Analyst
Assignment: Humana Pharmacy Reporting and Analytics
Location: Louisville, KY, or Glendale, AZ or Tempe, AZ or Springdale, OH or Green Bay, WI
Analysts in this role support and advise internal customers to enable data driven decision-making. This role will develop ETL solutions with MS Visual Studio 2012 SSIS or above to obtain the data needed for department wide use. The role will develop and deploy SSIS and schedule with $U.
Analysts in this role will also work with business users and IT partners to define and document requirements for analytics projects and then deliver reporting in MS Visual Studio 2012 SSRS, SQL Server Report Builder 3.0, or another business intelligence tool.
Analysts in this role will need to develop extensive knowledge of the pharmacy benefit management industry and pharmacy operations in order to identify analytical opportunities, identify and document data quality issues and data capture gaps

Possesses a strong understanding of ETL, relational database systems, SQL languages and data structures.
Demonstrated use of critical thinking and analytical skills to solve complex problems.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable work experience.
Experience with ETL solutions. Specifically MS Visual Studio SSIS
Experience with reporting and analytical systems. Specifically MS VS SSRS or SQL Server Report Builder
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.
Proficiency in VBA.
Experience with Oracle BITools, Sybase ASE, IBM DB2, and/or IBM Informix databases management systems.
Experience with Crystal Reports, Oracle BI Publisher, JasperReports, Cognos, Actuate, or other report development tools.
College level statistics and mathematics courses.
Domain knowledge of the Pharmacy Benefit Management industry and pharmacy processes.
