As a Consultant you will: serve as a subject matter expert lead on special projects, providing timely and accurate analysis, design and testing coordination, and documentation of complex business tasks and processes. You will also develop schedules and plans for the coordination and management of resources to establish more efficient business operations.

  • Direct oversight of certain processes which includes heavy collaboration between departments and IT
  • Detailed analysis using Excel, Access, and SQL to review table data and find false positives
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine source of the issue and work towards resolution
  • Detect, present, and oversee process improvements, process efficiency, and automation opportunities
  • Prepare and present recommendations to both internal and external audiences
  • Evaluate legal updates, CMS policy changes, and new legislation for impacts

Role Essentials * One yrs. of consultative skills which include ability to assess and understand client processes, elicit client understanding, and insight to advise and make recommendations * Intermediate knowledge of Excel, SQL and Access * Prior experience in data analysis and quantifiable business methods * Effective ability to evaluate existing work processes in order to predict, address and resolve efficiency and accuracy constraints * Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and documentation skills * Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines * Self-starter works with ambiguity; ability to work independently

Role Desirables * Healthcare finance or healthcare related consulting preferred * Project management & process mapping experience * Experienced and Knowledgeable with Coordination of Benefits and related topics (i.e. Hospice, ESRD, etc.)

Reporting Relationships

You will report to a Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
