Assignment Capsule Join Humana’s Group Account Management team – help to improve overall wellness of others by offering practical and useful benefit solutions.

As a Large Group Sales Account Executive, you are primarily responsible to recognize and execute on opportunities to retain/grow employer groups and promote additional product offerings for assigned book of Large Group Commercial businesses. Negotiate renewals, build and execute guidance plans, deliver reports on group experience and look for opportunities to promote additional product and benefit service offerings. Manage broker relationships by instituting a strategic relationship management process to ensure that business outcomes meet or exceed expectations. Responsible for working in a consultative manner to retain and grow employer groups and executive on opportunities to promote additional product offerings for Large Group Commercial businesses.

  • Achieve targets for membership retention, specialty and consumerism targets of assigned book of business

  • Drive cultivation of Broker and Customer relationships

  • Act as a liaison between the Sales and Account Implementation departments, effectively distributing resources to meet enrollment requirements

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Prior sales or account manager experience in the health solutions industry

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Valid Life & Health license

  • This role is part of Humana’s Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits. Role Desirables

  • Bilingual

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Prior broker or agent experience
