Under the supervision of the Specialist and Wellness Center Manager, the Specialist and Wellness Center Coordinator holds responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the Specialist and Wellness Center. This role is responsible for the administrative and support services of the center, as well as assisting in the coordination of the health and well-being activities of the Partners in Primary Care community and activity center. This role will help carry out the work of Partners in Primary Care’s mission to improve the health and well-being of our community.
* Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages and route to appropriate staff
Engage with and assist members/visitors to the center
Receive, sort and distribute mail, messages, documents and other deliveries
Assist with receipt and distribution of flyers and brochures
Communicate via telephone, email and instant messenger to internal and external customers
Maintain visitor log and issue visitor passes
Taking visitors on tour of facility
Purchase supplies (food, office, miscellaneous) to keep center operating
Handle facilities issues including equipment maintenance
Provide clerical assistance as needed
Role Essentials :
High school diploma or equivalent
2-5 years of prior administrative assistance or coordinator experience
1-3 years of administrative and consumer experience if with a health and wellness background
This role is considered patient facing and is part of PIPC’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB
High energy with an on-stage personality that is warm and welcoming

Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and other relevant software products.
