  • Make outbound calls to providers to verify clinical information

  • Ability to look up patient information in internal computer system.
  • Ability to use fax and copier.
  • Ability to respect and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Must be able to take directions from supervisors effectively.
  • Ability to develop a strong relationship with medical staff, peers, managers, patients and employees.
  • This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB
  • If selected for this role, you will be required to complete and pass AHCA Level 2 background check

    Role Essentials:

  • High School Diploma

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel

  • Excellent communication skills- telephonic, verbal and written

  • Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems

  • Customer service experience

    Role Desirables:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related field

  • Bilingual English/Spanish-fluent levels in both

  • Medical or insurance industry experience

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

  • Working knowledge of EMR or ECW and Chameleon systems
