Assignment Capsule The Regional Lead, Program Operations for Humana Government Business is responsible for managing activities centralized within Humana Military’s Government Services division to support TRICARE contract requirements, including, but not limited to, operations associated with access to care, contingencies, office alignment/zip code files, MTF and TRO data requests, customer relationship management, and performance reporting. TRICARE operations action officer who works special plans, projects and programs on behalf of Humana Military Government Services and other senior leaders. Directs the Help Desk that is accessed for data issues and requests, and problem resolution for all users of Humana Military’s Government Portal. Serves as the contingency officer for Humana Military and is also the liaison for access to care and data operations between TRO, other government agencies, and Humana Military Government Services.
Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.
Creates/sustains close collaborative relationships with TRO and others as Humana Military’s point of contact and subject matter expert for Access to Care (ATC), MTF and TRO data operations, and contingencies.
Supervises the timely and accurate collection, organization and analysis of operational data requested for regional, corporate and government use.
Manages the Government Users Portal Help Desk, ensuring responses to inquiries and requests for assistance meet or exceed customer expectations.
Performs other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, action officer functions associated with special plans, projects, and programs, and with customer relationship management.

Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing)
BS/BA in Business, Health Care Administration or a medical discipline
Minimum of three years of experience in a managed care environment
Keen verbal and written communication skills
Masterful problem-solving skills
Proven ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships
Masterful problem-solving skills
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products Role Desirables
Graduate degree in Business, Health Care, Health Care Administration, or other related field
Prior military action officer experience
Experience with TRICARE contracts and/or the military health care delivery system
Healthcare certification by a professional organization, such as American College of Healthcare Executives
Extensive knowledge of TRICARE policies and programs
Superior negotiation skills
This role reports to a Vice President. Will have 9-10 direct reports.
