Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5 years or less of technical experience

  • CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Certification required

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office XP products (Word, Excel, Access)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical, organizational and time management skills

  • Prior experience working within the health service industry and/or service operations

  • Prior coding experience in a medical office environment

  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Oracle/SQL

  • Prior work history in a fast paced sales environment or market office

  • Experience in managed care or health care administration
