Home Health Aide 2 will be responsible for keeping the patient's environment clean and safe.
Home Health Aide 2, enables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families. Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise. Assists patients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming. Helps patients care for themselves by teaching use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene. Helps family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient as well as advises on nutrition and cleanliness. Records patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following asepsis standards and procedures while maintaining security precautions. Protects the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.

HHA 75 Hour certification or CNA State License

HIPAA Certificate
Alzheimer's Certificate
Domestic Violence Certificate
Minimum 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors
This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
Must have a valid in-state driver's license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$31,200 - $40,600 per year
