Assignment Capsule Be a part of the eBusiness team, drivers of provider self-service adoption through education and promotion of electronic transactions on Humana.com and Availity.com secure provider portals, IVR, EDI, etc. Your focus will be on using data and analytics to drive provider self-service and reduce administrative cost within your assigned territory. You will provide subject matter expertise on provider office workflows, barriers to self-service adoption and requirements to self-service projects.
Key assignment responsibilities include:
Develop strategy for driving provider self-service within assigned territory
Execute strategy and hold team accountable for meeting metrics
Educate the markets and other business partners on provider self-service tools
Partner with markets and business partners on key providers to enhance provider self-service
Identify gaps in existing Humana processes and tools that impact provider self-service
Drive adoption of provider electronic payments; ERA/EFT
Manage escalated provider self-service issues
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience
Understanding of provider office/hospital systems workflows
Aptitude for learning new tools, techniques, concepts, and technologies
Excellent facilitation, consulting and delivery of complex content
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to leverage critical thinking skills/sound decision making ability
Adaptable to evolving business and program needs
Proven track record for being highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Some knowledge/experience in Process Improvement or Project Management
Identify high volume and high value provider targets within a defined territory and move them along the self-service spectrum. Role Desirables
Versed in HIPAA X12 transactions
Demonstrates prior experience with multiple self and assisted service technologies – Web, Integrated Voice Response, digital technologies, etc.
Understanding of the process for standing up large scale projects at Humana and the ability to report out/educate larger groups.
