Humana is seeking an Associate Actuary to provide leadership in the measurement and evaluation of risk, as well as recommendations for action, consistent with established actuarial methods and standards. You will perform traditional actuarial work, as well as potentially manage the work of others.

  • Responsible for pricing of new & innovative product concepts

  • Provide analytic support for trend bender initiatives tied to product design

  • Perform financial analysis to support design of Wellness Products & Incentives Support benefit pricing for the Humana Employees account

  • Prepares comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results including technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses

  • Requires communication and presentation skills, working independently with non-actuarial business partners including Product Development and Regulatory Compliance

  • Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation

  • Meets eligibility requirements for Humana’s Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP)
