Humana is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to:

  • Receive, document and resolve customer inquiries by using established best practices
  • Build lasting relationships with Humana’s customers
  • Educate customers, providers and employers about Humana’s products and services over the telephone.

Role Essentials * High School Diploma * Customer service experience * Strong attention to detail * Strong typing and computer navigation skills * Capacity to multi-task, including use of multiple computer applications simultaneously * Effective verbal and listening communication skills Role Desirables * Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree * Previous call center experience * Bilingual English/Spanish- must be able to speak, read and write in both languages without limitations or assistance Reporting Relationships * You will report to a Frontline Leader. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.

Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
