Be a part of the Financial World- Use your business knowledge to help analyze and develop policies, procedures and programs supporting our finance initiatives

As a Finance Analyst you will: Maintain pharmacy paid claims reconciliation on a monthly basis and ensure the program integrity is maintained as system changes occur. You will work with the Company’s Pharmacy Benefit Administrator to understand logic changes and ensure they meet our requirements as well as develop testing plans to validate the changes work appropriately. You will partner with associates from other business areas on various projects related to pharmacy claims that have a financial impact and develop an understanding of the company’s pharmacy claims process (from point-of-sale to financial reporting).

  • Daily data queries and analyses of pharmacy claims and updating various financial reports in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile reporting provided by external partners to validate against internal records.
  • Completing various tasks related to monthly close process such as recording journal entries, preparing monthly invoices, balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Participation on conference phone calls related to assigned tasks and projects.
  • Completing various ad-hoc data extracts and reporting.
  • Involvement in monthly testing releases related to programing code changes, fixes of production issues, and changes to the financial reports.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Role Desirables

  • Previous health insurance industry experience working in a Finance/Accounting department.
  • Knowledge of SQL

  • You will report to a Pharmacy Finance Process Manager.
