Responsibilities

The Procurement Professional 2 complies with federal and state regulatory guidelines. Reconciles purchases with invoices from vendors, validates pricing and contract compliance. Monitors sales and margins through vendor negotiations and promotional opportunities. Deals with the pharmaceutical companies for drug purchasing. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Typically requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and less than 5 years of technical experience
