The Onboarding Representative 3 provides direct support to company employees, other HR groups and company management as part of a centralized function to handle a variety of HR-related transactions. The Onboarding Representative 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.
The Onboarding Representative 3 receives and responds to requests concerning HR policies/programs, initiates pre-employment background and drug test screenings, serves as a liaison with the business and recruiting to ensure smooth onboarding of candidates, and assists with other projects and processes that will create positive and efficient experiences for new and internal associates.
Collaborates with multiple HR departments in Associate Relations, Recruiting, Benefits and Compensation
Coordinates recruiting, on-boarding and tracking activities, facilitating the delivery of orientation and compliance materials to new associates and ensuring their proper completion
Presents recommendations for process improvements to HR consultants, business clients, vendors and other Humana associates
Responds to inquiries via online resources and/or telephone
Processes various paper and electronic forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire onboarding, change-of-status, termination of employment, etc.
Inputs employee personal data into human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database and/or documents activities as requested.
Reviews applications and pre-employment screening results. Prepares and presents orientation materials.
Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience supporting Human Resources in an administrative capacity
Must possess strong data entry skills
Ability to manipulate data and create reports experience using Microsoft Excel
Must be able to interface with all levels within the organization
Have the proven ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
Must have impeccable follow through skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
Fluency in Spanish
